EVENTS FOR 2014...
28th June to 2nd July
Vintage Cycle Challenge from Anjou Vélo Vintage, Loire Valley
Ride retro style. Start by enjoying the unique Anjou Vélo Vintage weekend in Samur in the beautiful Loire Valley. This is a unique meeting for old bike fans and vintage fashion lovers. And that’s just the start, we’ll then ride back to PACE via Mont St Michel and Cherbourg over three days cheered home by your family and friends. This is a must do event for lovers of the stylish past! Strictly limited to 12 riders.
The trip costs only £499pp (£199 registration/deposit to secure your place, followed by £300 balance by 1 May 2014). This represents amazing value for a 5 day cycling event, your Cherbourg to Portsmouth ferry ticket back to the UK, 4 nights B&B accommodation (shared), entry to the Anjou weekend and a full support team to look after you on the ride. Sign up by completing this simple form.
PACE will support and motivate you to raise as much money as possible but you should aim to raise at least £500, which is more than achievable given the unique nature of this cycling event. You will need a vintage bike to enter the true spirit of the trip (these can be easily rented through PACE). Sign up by completing this simple form.
14th to 20th September
'The Portugeezer/Portugaal', Lisbon to Porto, 400 miles in 5 days
Suitable for 'geezers' and 'gaals'. This event concludes at the famous Quinta de la Rosa
Winery in the Douro region of Portugal, to tread the 2014 vintage. This is an amazing and utterly unique ride through a beautiful region of Europe.
The personal contribution is £499pp (£199 registration/deposit to secure your place, followed by £300 balance by July 2014). This represents amazing value for a 5 day cycling trip, 6 nights B&B accommodation (shared), return travel and a full support team to look after you. Sign up by completing this simple form.
PACE will support and motivate you to raise as much money as possible but you should aim to raise at least £1000, which is more than achievable given the challenge of this cycling event. You will need a lightweight racing bike as some days include significant climbing. We will help you to train properly for this event. It is however an event that can be completed by those new to cycling as well as suiting those riders with more experience on two wheels. Sign up by completing this simple form.
