Conductive education

What is Conductive Education

Conductive education (CE) is a holistic educational system. It helps children with cerebral palsy and neurodisabilities face challenges and be as independent as possible.

Conductive education is central at Pace (particularly Pace School) because it focuses on children’s potential. It fosters a ‘can do’ attitude, where children are challenged to try new things.

Our conductor practitioners are skilled facilitators who consider how the day flows for your child, and how skills build and complement each other to get the best from them.

Your child will be supported to use their cognitive skills to overcome physical challenges. For example using music and rhythm, analysing a task and practicing the individual parts of a task in sequences to reach the end goal. They will also be supported to access their environment.

Nothing inspires us more than seeing a child achieve something for the first time.
