Swimming assistant at Booker Park School, Aylesbury
‘Holly Group’, part of PACE, is for children aged 2-5 yrs. This brand new group is based at Booker Park School in Aylesbury. Children attend on a part-time basis which enables them to spend the rest of their week integrating into their local mainstream school or nursery.
These children have the opportunity to use the hydrotherapy pool every Friday. During their swimming lessons, the children will be learning breathing techniques which will support speech and language development, as well as balance and co-ordination skills. Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, we are currently unable to make use of the pool, without the help of a volunteer. PACE is looking for somebody to either join us in the water, working with an individual child, or to observe the children from the side of the pool (your choice). Experience is not required only the will to help in the long term development of these children.
